This is one of the stranger ideas we've seen in a while. It may have
got started as a party joke: Dress a guy up in a gorilla costume, give
him a massive strap-on (18" is advertised), and have him shoot some
kind of fluid, presumably alcoholic, on drunken chicks. The
"Gras" in the title of this site borrows from Mardi Gras, which is one of the
drunk party girl
locations of choice. But while it may have got started at Mardi Gras,
"King Shlong" (the name of the gorilla) has since gone on
"World Tour" to
give his big facials to girls at other drunk party girl hotspots like
Lake Havasu and Cancun (the "world" in this instance isn't
such a big place).
OK, so this is a novelty site. Its niche is definitely drunk party chicks.
You know what we're talking about. Get a membership here and you're
automatically in to Spring Break University
as well. So the monthly rate, which is
pretty high, is somewhat justified.
A lot of what we said about Spring Break University goes for this
one as well (and you should read our review of that site because it
tells you a little more about what you get in the "FB Members"
section). To go over the obvious: the video is shot-on-the-fly street
stuff. It's definitely real (meaning these are real girls met on the
street, not that the gorilla or the rest of the shit is real). You get a
lot of filler (a.k.a, "the funny") in with the video
here. They try to make the most out of
what you came in for, even repeating all of King Shlong's cum shots in
slow motion with animal groans on the soundtrack, but the average porn
addict just looking for jack material may feel that the people making
this are having more fun than he is.
The video specs are surprisingly good, with playback at 1400 kb/s.
Less than a year ago that would have been the best video on the Net! But for some reason, maybe all the movement and the struggle to maintain
focus, it doesn't look quite as good as it should. As with most video shot out in the
open, on the street or wherever, you're not getting studio quality
production. No fancy editing, close-ups, etc. Lighting is whatever you
can get, so the Lake Havasu stuff all looks better than the Bourbon
Street clips. At least you don't have all the flashbulbs going off. In
all the situations the guys are having to shoot in a crowd too, which
looks like it was sometimes difficult.
When we visited this was the menu, and it isn't straightforward. You
start off in the photo section as a default. There were 5 galleries
of pics in the "Gorilla Cock" gallery, all from Mardi Gras.
These are non-nude pics. Then there's 3 galleries of "nude"
pics, but only half of these have any nudity (just flashing tits). Two
galleries of "funny stuff". Then five sections dedicated to
the "World Tour": Lake Havasu (the most pics), New Orleans,
Key West, Cancun, and more Outtakes. Maybe a couple of thousand pics
total, which isn't a lot. They are typical fast snaps too, as you would
expect (though they aren't blurry). Size is around 600x800.
This classification system didn't really make sense to us, but it's
repeated in the video section, where you have Feature Films, Gorilla
Cock, and Nudity, followed by the World Tour videos (no Cancun clips
were up yet). The movies all run around 7-10 minutes but because of the
high bit rate these are large files (usually over 100 megs). There were
41 videos total, though some of these were compilation videos (as in
just the cumshots, or just the T&A).
That's about it. It's well done for what it is, but what it is is a
novelty site that's never very erotic or even sexual. It's not hardcore,
and we don't recall even seeing any pussy on display. But if you like
watching drunk chicks acting stupid in public (what do they get out of
this? a baseball hat?) then this is worth a look,
especially given the other sites you get (which include some
"reality porn" feeds and the Lightspeed Hotshots). Our major
concern was that there wasn't a ton of content yet--with no indication
of an update schedule either--plus the fact that it's very much a single
concept being played out. The video is good, and they're definitely
shooting their own stuff (there are no Son of Shlong rip-offs . . .
yet), but it's still a bit pricey for this niche.
