the navigation had really improved, which was one of our major concerns.
Basically it's all Pornstar Network now, and navigating around the
different sites is pretty easy.-Eds.)
This is just a quick peek in to see what's happening
along with reviews of two sites they've added to the line-up: Annie
Berry and Club
Vanessa Blue (they've actually added a lot more than that since our
last review, but these were the two we reviewed).
We still love this network. They have a great mix of
studio, fetish, pornstar and amateur content. And they're always adding
new stuff. Across the network it looks like they're updating with four
new movies (that is, a full 15-20 minute scene) every day! The video is
also
improving again, with some full
scenes being offered at "DVD Quality" (which here means
around 2000 kb/s and 720x480). Apparently they started offering these for all of
their
updates
in
April
2006,
and
have
plans
to
upgrade
all
of
the
older
clips
as
well.
We
can't
wait!
Unfortunately,
there
were
also
a
couple
of
things
we
didn't
like
this
time
around.
Chief
among
these
is
the
confusing
layout.
At
the
time
of
our
last
review
we
were
unsure
whether
they
were
keeping
the
BrainPass
area
or
switching
everything
over
to
Pornstar
Network.
Well,
we
still
don't
know.
Basically
BrainPass
is
just
a
menu
now
of
the
different
sites
(the
same
thing
you
get
with
each
individual
site
in
the
"Bonus
Sites"
area),
whereas
Pornstar
Network
is a
sort
of
megasite
where
all
the
content
from
the
different
sites
is
pooled
together
for
easier
browsing.
The
way
it's
set
up
is
pretty
good,
allowing
for
fast
effective
searches,
but
we
wish
they'd
make
up
their
mind
what
direction
they
want
to
go
in
and
clear
up
the
navigation
accordingly.
We
would
recommend--and
from
the
looks
of
it
this
is
what
they
are
working
towards--keeping
the
Pornstar
Network
set-up,
improving
navigation
to
and
from
the
individual
sites
to
the
Network
page,
and
losing
the
whole
BrainPass
thing.
But
that's
just
our
suggestion.
Also
of
some
concern
is
what
appears
to
be
the
passing
of
the BrainPass
girls.
Aside
from
Christine
Young,
who
remains
somewhat
active,
it
doesn't
look
like
Melissa
Doll,
Sweet
Amylee,
or Shelby
Bell
are
doing
much
any
more.
In
fact,
as
noted
previously,
it
looks
like
Shelby's
site
is
dead.
These
performers
were
replaced
by a
second
wave:
Annie
Berry,
Cherry
Potter,
Cute
Angie,
and Kelly
Summer
(who,
we
should
note,
is
now
sporting
some
big
new
tits).
Then
these
girls
sort
of
dropped
out
too.
So
in
short
this
really
isn't
much
of
an
amateur
site
any
more
(though
they
do
have
good
archives
for
all
these
models).
OCTOBER 2005 RE-VISIT
OK, it's been a year and we thought we'd updated
what's going on one of our favourite networks.
What's
new?
They've
entered
into
a
content
deal
with
DVSX
Studios
which
is
giving
them
lots
of
group
sex/gangbang
content
to
add
to
the
mix.
These
new
sites
are Bang
Me
Boys,
The
Lucky
Man
("reverse
gangbang")
and
Only
DP.
Not
a
lot
of
content
in
any
of
these
sites
yet,
but
you
can
expect
them
to
be
filling
up
regularly.
New
girls:
Cute
Angie,
Cherry
Potter
(yeah,
we
hate
the
name
too,
but
she
pronounces
it
with
a
heavy
French
accent
so
it
sounds
like
she's
saying
"Cherie"),
and Kelly
Summer.
Typical
BrainPass
fare:
bright-looking,
skinny
teens
doing
lots
of
girl-girl
and
boy-girl
hardcore
action.
New
name:
Looks
like
they're
starting
to
re-brand
with
PornstarNetwork.com.
Don't
know
why
they're
changing
the
name,
but
it's
a
case
of
the
same
(good)
shit,
different
label.
Sort
of
like
OxPass
calling
itself
Bang
Bros.
Network.
Better
video:
You
wouldn't
think
it,
but
changing
the
screen
size
of
their
best
clips
(the
only
ones
you
want
to
grab)
from
320x240
to
480x360
really
does
make
a
big
difference.
It's
much
better.
And
they
still
offer
five
other
formats,
including
three
(!!!)
low-res
versions,
which
seems
totally
pointless
to
us.
Isn't
one
enough?
Better
navigation:
From
the
main
Pornstar
Network
menu
you
can
choose
from
a
selection
of
all
the
latest
updates
across
the
entire
network,
or
go
directly
to
the
individual
sites
without
always
re-entering
your
password.
Very
smooth!
Frequent
updates:
Something's
being
added
every
day,
and
sometimes
you're
getting
two
or
even
three
updates
a
day.
Which
makes
sense
given
that
there
are
over
20
sites
now.
Things
that
let
us
down:
(1)
There
still
doesn't
seem
to
be
much
personal
involvement/interaction
with
any
of
the
girls.
The
diaries
are
only
being
updated
a
couple
of
times
a
month,
at
best,
and
the
messages
are
so
short
and
non-descriptive
there's
hardly
any
point
to
them
at
all.
Each
site
has
its
own
message
board,
which
are
worth
reading,
but
the
girls
don't
seem
involved
very
much
in
those
either.
As
for
live
shows,
well,
they
don't
often
say
on
their
sites
what
their
schedules
are.
But
if
you
go
to
Camz
or
SexCam
Central
or
one
of
the
other
live
networks
you
should
be
able
to
track
them
down.

download
full
movies.
All
the
scenes
are
split
up
into
5-minute
clips
(around
25
megs
for
the
best
.wmv
files).

They've
added
a
couple
of
new
girls,
got
some
more
studio
content,
and
the
navigation
and
video
quality
have
both
improved.

girls
are
still
hard
at
work,
with
Melissa
Doll
and Sweet
Amylee
now
featuring
over
50
full
videos
each.
And
for
a
network
it's
still
offering
a
good
mix
of
content,
not
the
usual
reality
porn
stocking
stuffers.
Our
impression
this
time
out
was
that
Lex
Steele's
site
is
turning
into
the
new
flagship.
Quite
a
bit
of
stuff
there,
and
since
they
bought
out
the
LexonBlondes
people
it's
the
only
place
you're
going
to
find
so
much
Lex
online.
Our
only
question
was
why
they've
got
his
stuff
spread
out
over
so
many
different
fucking
sites.

SEPTEMBER 2004 REVIEW
BrainPass is a network that's a bit different. It's not a bunch of
reality sites and it isn't an affiliation of swingers. Instead it's a
collection of quality produced sites out of Montreal built around some excellent amateur
personalities, a pair of mainstream legends, a couple of fetish names, and some
generic studio material. It's a bit of a grab-bag, but the quality is
higher than you'll find in most networks and they've done a great job of
integrating all of the different sites into a satisfying package.
Even before they started selling BrainPass as a separate membership the
sites were fully integrated. The members section of any one of them
posts
the latest updates across the entire network, reinforcing the total
package concept. What you're getting is at least one update every day,
of material that is, by the standards of most porn networks,
surprisingly high quality. There are several amateur names involved, but
the presentation is very professional (although the sets, when they
aren't outdoors, are pretty limited). The video, and these are all primarily video sites, can
be downloaded in six formats (three high, three low), topping out at 700 kb/s. We'd
like to be able to download full scenes instead of clips, and perhaps
have a few more thumbnails, but those are the only knocks we have
against the layout.
As noted, these aren't reality sites. Nor are they typical niche
fetish (the only "fetish" sites are Real Squirt and I Want
Latina). Peter North and Lex Steele are the names that stand out, and
their sites are probably the best of the bunch in terms of the actual quantity of stuff
you get. But Peter and Lex aren't very involved. The girls, a fresh-faced
group of French-Canadian amateurs who broke into the business under the
tutelage of Bruno B., are the major draw. These girls are young, look
even younger, thin, and have small breasts. Most of them feature weekly hardcore updates. They also show up a lot on each others'
sites, so there's usually plenty of lesbian and three-way action.
As "Extras" you get all the usual licensed
content.
